I can't help but take this as an honest compliment.

It's true, I'm a drama whore... More like a drama carrion bird. Arguing and shadenfreude are two of my favourite indulgences.

Of course. I'd say in general, there are more women on F!S than men. Doesn't mean that women and men won't find it equally offensive, but I think that if a secret strikes a personal chord in a majority group, you're going to hear more about it. If F!S were dominated by male fans, you'd see more people cropping up against it.

It's not necessarily right, and I hate sexism on both sides, but most people here aren't male and don't have as much of a personal investment in it. Sadly, having personal investment sometimes means that you tend to react more strongly to something. It shouldn't be that way, but more often than not, it is.

Sure. Because women were treated as inferior human beings for generations.

I'm not saying that secret is okay. In fact, I responded to it because I think it's misandrist and unfair. But there is certainly more outrage when the female gender is insulted because the sensitivity surrounding the issue is a bit more raw. It's similar to racism against black people being more inflammatory than racism against white people.
