I don't even watch the show anymore (quit midway through season 2 I think) and I still don't like her.

yeah, I gave up on it too.

I think it's because I dislike her as an actress, and it spills over into people she plays. That and there was more whining than plot in Grey's but that's not really relevant.

Hah, believe me, I understand. My roommate and I still watch it sometimes "just to see what happens" (we watched the first few seasons religiously) but we both hate Izzy and Derek and the show caters so much to them that it's hard to watch. Not to mention that I'm convinced they'd all make incompetent doctors. Not to mention that it wields "emotional drama" like a hammer. (it doesn't help that I associate it with a bunch of friends from the beginning of college that I look back on and say, "wtf were we friends again we are so completely different")

I haven't seen anything else she's been in, but I have absolutely no desire to see either Knocked Up or 27 Dresses, which is all I can think of that she's been in.

I've tried watching it again, because I did enjoy it for a short time but then somebody, usually Meredith is all "woe is me, I will die a spinster for Mcwhatever took his wife back~" and the surgeries usually seem a little outlandish. It's like if one of the characters is not undergoing some kind of emotional crisis then there is nothing going on. The only ones I liked at all was their attending and the Korean doctor.

I've seen Knocked Up, and I did enjoy it but I didn't really like her character in that either.

Yeah, Christina was always my favorite character too. Recently she was punished for telling Meredith to stop whining by having an icicle fall on her and stab her in the stomach.

If I got stabbed by an icicle and SURVIVED I'd be like a one woman party being like "fuck yeah, I lived to see another day!!!" not constantly lamenting the fact that it happened. Meredith needs to get told/forced to STFU more often.

Oh no, Christina wasn't constantly lamenting it (don't think it was mentioned after that episode actually). But it was like, meant to signify a cosmic warning to her to be nicer to Meredith, and Meredith was like, "this was karma for being a bitch to me." Which was just... yeah.

ffffff my bad, I am an idiot, I misinterpreted what you said. I thought you meant Meredith go hit with the icicle. I wish she had.

I don't think that would ever happen (it's MEREDITH, the HEROINE). But it would be hilarious.

If it happened, I'd watch it happen but then she'd spend the rest of the season whining about it, so that would be my limit.
