Also, speaking as someone who also has a D cup (at least, I think I'm wearing the wrong size) -- how the FUCK do you find a triangle top that fits? I've never been able to wear a triangle top, and I call bullshit, unless you're using double-sided tape to keep it up or something.

154 I think the art in Haruhi is gorgeous, and that's what got me watching the show in the first place (a Newtype cover illustration). Lucky Star... eh.

Haruhi's gigantic eyes, lack of actual organic movement to the character bodies and plastic-as-fuck coloring is only slightly less grating than Key shit.

I actually think Lucky Star looks slightly better. At least characters aren't as stiff and life-less.

You don't have to like the character design but quit trying to make a professional-sounding argument. Just admit that you personally don't like it and move on. Geez.

That was not me, but simply part of the reason why I dont watch many new anime is because I am so picky about the art style. I can't tolerate many of them. Big eyes terrify me. It's actually one of the reasons why I tend to avoid shoujo because most shonen have more simplistic, normal eyes and noses.

I hardly ever watch shoujo either, and mostly I just stick to classic anime, mostly sci-fi or mecha (in which, most of the time anyway, character design is a little more realistic), but I still liked the designs in Haruhi. Different strokes for different folks.

Did we watch the same show? All the characters have their own mannerisms and actual subtle body language.

I couldn't stand Lucky Star for all the SD character moments. Lazy.

Not to mention that animation (movement) has nothing to do with the art style (character design) of a show.

The missing word between "I" and "it" is supposed to be "see", not "do". I don't think anyone can force herself to flipflop between hot and cold constantly either. Even if you could, why would you want to?

So what, I can`t get squicked over a cartoon now?
Is that a rule about that in some Big Squick Rulebook, or something?
Not to mention it`s pretty much an irrational raction. Seriously, I can get over Emma Frost`s outfits but not this, WTF, self.

Im not from the US, and have never had a problem buying bikini tops that fit in my hometown. Regular bras, on the other hand...

I just agree with you that it doesn't make sense to not watch a show based on fanservice when it exists pretty much everywhere.

And every time I try on a triangle top the fabric wants to bunch up under the weight of my boobs (it slides on that string that holds the fabric up until it's not really covering me up anymore). So I just gave up on trying them on after awhile. Bras are easier because they have underwire and all the fabric isn't held up by fabric-covered strings.

Yeah, it doesn`t... but. Well ,apparently that little bit of fanservice broke a camel`s back for me =).

Oh, that explains it. See, my boobs are strangely perky (pencil-test passing and all), so there is no weight issue - they stay up on their own.
(That might have something to do with me also being 185 cm (that`s like 6`1, right?) tall and proportionally built, with wide chest and stuff. I also excersise a lot (pushups, etc.) and am still in my early twenties.)

This one? Would take a gentle nudge. Or a light breeze. XD

The original ends with four het couples, though, so there would need to be some reworking of the love songs.

Sometimes it irks me when there is a secret like, "no one loves this book and it is awesome" and no indicator of what it is about. Sure, we don't need help with all the HP, Avatar and Twilight secrets, but tiny!fandoms can be problematic.
