If you've only seen RPGs online, then I feel your pain--completely. But I have RPGed since I was twelve (I'm thirty) and the vast majority of the time I have played with really reasonable, fun people who were not drama llamas.

And also, if you haven't RPGed, then how the hell would you know how mature people are who play? Srs question iz srs. :P

I am in fandom (as evidenced by the fact that I'm, you know, on f!s) -- I've met people who RP, even if I don't do it myself.

And yes, I'm mostly just familiar with the online stuff, so I guess I'll have to take your word on non-internet RPGs having less drama.
