(Anonymous) 2008-11-20 01:26 am (UTC)(link)Well, the screenshot is from a scene in Bender's Game where the cast slaughers a group of "Morks", a cross between Orcs and Mork from the planet Ork, the main character of Mork And Mindy, played by Robin Williams.
Robin Williams is my fucking hero.
I fucking felt sick to my stomach seeing the character of Mork (the sweetest alien ever) grotesquified and then SLAUGHTERED right before my eyes. I can take TV shows doing riffs on Robin, but this was beyond good-natured ribbing. This was... just plain disturbing. I fucking RAGED.
So basically Futurama is ruined forever for me. I know that sounds melodramatic, but that's why I made it a secret. Futurama fans would chew me out. Well, I've already made my decision, which is:
Robin Williams > Futurama
So there.

I thought it was pretty hilarious. After all, the writers aren't actively trying to offend. I'm sorry Futurama is ruined for you, though.
