My cat. She's been really sweet and also playful and just wanting to be around me the past few days, like she knows I'm stressed and anxious. She's what gets me out of bed in the morning on the worst days.

Also, I've been sorting through boxes in the garage of mine that mostly had books. but I found an old harddrive in it with some music of mine, so I'm getting to listen to some new stuff. Sorting through that and deciding what will be on my Ipod is both fun and time consuming in a good way.

Also, started a Star Trek TNG rewatch because I need a bit of hope.

When I make popcorn my dog will sit next to me and lick the air next to the bowl of popcorn. Like... it's her weird middle ground between just diving for the bowl and sitting there like normal. And it's very cute.

I just made fruit salad - fresh grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and tiny Mandarin oranges (fresh). When i actually eat it, I'll add banana. And it's because i finally did all the stuff and signed up for EBT (food stamps), so now I'm not attempting to eat all month on about eighty bucks. YAY.

I'm with you. Characters interacting with pets (of any kind). Any friendly human-animal interaction is great, but that companion bond is especially enjoyable to watch.

But gods damn it, I HATE "But now I must go" endings. Always leave me so depressed.

I much prefer "And the adventure continues!" endings.
