I would just like to say thank you to all of you secret makers. I’d seen this show pop up on my netflix ages ago but kind of wrote it off without really checking it out. All the discussion here finally got me interested and I’ve gotten through the first 8 or so episodes. Enjoying so far and Wei Wuxian seems to be one of my favorite character archetypes so there’s that too. :)

Anyway, good thing there’s a lot more to go since I have a lot of time on my hands!

Sorry this is only tangentially related to this particular secret.

Not the OP (for once)

IMO, the beginning is the trickiest part because it's hard to figure out what the hell is going on. Once I got into the flashback part, I was hooked... and then when I finished the series, rewatching the beginning meant a great deal more the second time around. Glad you're enjoying the show!

Hahaha, the beginning was definitely weird so when it got to the flashback I was like “thank God, they’re going to explain how we got here”.

LOL, same. I think that's what kept me going, wanting to find out WTF happened. It's a good story, IMO.

Thanks, secret maker, for making my comment into a secret. And that picture is gorgeous. Never actually seen untamed, but knowing this is a plotline has now put it next on my to-watch list.

Not the OP, but I'm a big fan of The Untamed. It's a bit confusing at first, but ultimately very entertaining. Beautiful cast, the two main leads are especially good, but there's a lot of solid acting in this and self-sacrifice is a main theme.
