Girlfriend tested positive for corona. She's an A&E Doctor so it was always going to happen, and she'll be absolutely fine, but it's still shit news none the less. And means I can't be there for her (we live separately, and being key workers haven't seen each other for coming up to two weeks now).

That’s really shitty, and I’m sorry. It’s not much of a bright side, but since you haven’t seen her in two weeks, you probably weren’t exposed. Good luck to her, and to you.

Hopefully she gets through it quickly. At least there's some evidence that you can only get it once a season.

Oh, I'm sorry. I hope she has a speedy recovery. And hopefully you can still find a way to stay in touch with her, texts or phone calls or something to help cheer her up a little.
