Frankly, the 'joined at the hip' relationship a lot of people seem to think is ideal/write about in fic is one that in real life is rarely that great.

That's so great. So many parents get hit hard by empty nest syndrome when their kids leave for college or move out. IMO it should be a good time to focus on yourself for a change.

Right? I like the quiet. I like that everything is always how/where i left it. I like that i don't have lights on or the heat or AC on when *i* don't feel the need for any of it. I like shopping for one.

Yes, i love my Monstrous Bebe and miss her, but she's only a few streets away and we talk on ICQ all the time. I don't miss her enough to want her to move back in, or to want a roommate of any kind, heh.

Thomas Gibson was backed into a corner by a fucking MMA fighter who was shouting and poking his chest without giving him a way to escape. I would have kicked the motherfucker to get out of the path of danger, too.
