I did genuinely enjoy the first few books. And the first sex scene I ever read was in one of them, so between that and the domme ladies they were pretty exciting to me as a teen, lol.

I do agree with this - to be honest, those aspects definitely spoke to me as a young teen. But, that's really a function as being a young teen w/o copious access to Internet smut, not about the quality of the works.

And I don't think I would even like the first few books if I read them now.
