Superman has always been my favorite superhero, but I don't think we've yet had a movie adaption that has been a particularly good one. Christopher Reeves was okay, but overrated. And his version still missed that Clark Kent is not the mask. TV versions have been better. But when it comes to adaptions, Marvel has been far and away better than DC for me even though in comics I'm a DC girl.

I'm the opposite. I'm a Marvel girl but I like the DC adaptations more. The animated ones though, not the live-action.
