I didn't read the first book until after the first season of the show, as I was (also) intrigued and wanted more.

I did love that the show was equal opportunity about the sexy. And, in fact, it was pretty equal opportunity about everything. So many shows are guy heavy. (Like all of the procedurals I used to watch, which seemed to try to maintain a 3 or 4 to 1 guy to girl ratio.) But on LotS, the main four were equally split, and there were women in every side role from helpful to antagonistic. I loved that.

I've only rewatched once. But it is on my list of things to watch again. Sometime. When I finally get around to actually hooking up my televisions.
