Quarantine updates.

Sorry, I know everyone's sick of this topic, but I'M OFFICIALLY DONE WITH 14 DAYS OF QUARATINE! Not that I'll be going anywhere, but the fact that I can step out of the house without a 10-33k USD fine is freeing. And my country's still mostly functioning so if I really wanted to, I COULD go do stuff. I won't, but I could. FREEDOM!!

I walked out for 2 minutes today. :D Was going to go to the local stationary store but it was closed so I walked right back home, haha. It was a good 2 minutes!

Oh yeah, the virus itself was definitely a concern too, especially during the first week. I was never contacted about exposure risk (they contact you if they can track any confirmed cases to you, and my only exposure was mainly through a plane ride so fairly easy to track) and the mean incubation period appears to be a week, so this last week was a lot more relaxing.

My county started shelter in place at 5 pm today. We've had our first death. The Gov. has still not called it for the state.

I'm not in quarantine but we are under safer at home orders. My job is weirdly considered essential, but I can work from home so I do. I had to run into the office for a bit this afternoon and that was only the second time I'd been out since I took a walk on Sunday. The first was when I ordered takeout from a local place and walked one block over to pick it up. It's going to start getting warmer soon which is nice because I have a yard to be outside in, but it's been chilly and wet and the grass is still dormant and muddy. I'm quite busy with work so I'm not binging all the shows.

I like cool wet weather, but I'm hoping that even if the heat isn't enough to kill the virus (as seen in Singapore, Australia, etc), longer sun exposure can help contain it. Any tiny bit helps right now...
