Srsly. They couldn't have won because the judges just liked their routine more! IT TOTALLY HAS TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT THEY ARE POOR AND BLACK. I JUST KNOW IT. I'm totally not racist, though!

And it definitely has nothing to do with the story the movie was trying to tell! They definitely wrote those judges to be racist! U R MISSING T3H POINT OF TEH MOVEE U GUYZ

I do have to wonder what making the poor team all black and the rich team all white has to do with the story. I understand it's probably realistic (I wouldn't know, even the cheerleading teams from the wealthy high schools where I grew up had a good number of minorities, and there were white girls on the poorer squads), but it just seems racist in it's own way, like, "Of COURSE the poor team is all black, and of COURSE the lazy, bitchy rich team is all white!"

As far as the judges, it's not like you know enough of their characters to say why they liked the Clovers' routine better, but if it were practically the same one that the Toros had been doing for the past however many years, and they were the same judges, it makes SENSE that the Clovers would win as it's a routine that the judges really like. (I mean, there's the EXTREMELY remote possibility of racial bias, but that would be a real stretch without knowing a lot more about the judges.)

I agree all around.

They obviously think that kind of movie hasn't been done to death.
