Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to be drinking all weekend because I why not. I am currently drinking a horrible experiment that should not exist. I will also be crocheting more cubes for my blanket and leveling a WoW character since there is double bonus. Lastly, I got the new Nosleep podcast to listen on tomorrow. :D

Sleeping and reading mostly. Between the oak pollen and the current stormy weather, my head is not particularly happy at the moment. Feeling pretty sound sensitive, so watching is probably out.

got paid today, a nice two month check. Most will be going towards taxes, but I am going to use some of it to buy a few fantasy books. Just have to decide which ones I want to get.

If I do watch something, it will be Legend of the Seeker, but I expect I'll just be reading this weekend. And sadly no drinking, even though I really want some spiced rum. I'm super doped up on benadryl, and antihistimines and alcohol do not mix.

I have some work things to do (online/from home), but my boss said there was no hurry, just to do them whenever over the next month or two that we're off, and I've been super lazy so far (it's been two and half weeks that we've been off), so I want to get at least some of that done this weekend.

Other than that, possibly cleaning/organizing if I can find the motivation. Hopefully I can do some reading. I've barely read at all since I've been off because I've been super distracted by everything going on and can't concentrate. I've basically done nothing but play games on my phone, go on social media/the internet in general, watch the news, and sleep. I have watched a few (non-news) shows, and that was really nice to get my mind off things for a bit, so I might try to watch something new (thinking maybe Tiger King since the entire internet seems to be obsessed with it at the moment so I'm intrigued).

Oh, and I might bake cookies (or a cake or something, IDK).

I got my period yesterday and it's insanely heavy and painful, plus it's supposed to rain here all weekend so tomorrow I'll try to get at least 90 minutes of yoga in, and give myself a mani-pedi in the afternoon. TNT is airing a Star Wars marathon tomorrow and I'll probably watch. I ordered a takeout DIY pizza kit plus cocktails from a favorite restaurant and will pick it up Sunday afternoon for dinner that night. And I'll need to place a weed delivery order soon so that might happen Sunday too.

I want ramen so bad, but there aren’t any ramen places in my city and I can’t even satisfy my craving with instant ramen because the stores don’t have any. I may try to make some, but it’s more likely that I’m gonna dump some chicken stock in some noodles, call it ramen, and watch anime.

Serve it with pork on top and add some Japanese sauce and leek and dried seaweed and it might come close to cheap ramen? And that weird yellow-ish ramen noodle ofc (I hate it but even "good" ramen places in the US use it and idgi whyyyyyy). Now that I'm thinking about it there should be recipes online...

Ingredients might be harder to gather these days though. Good luck :/

Don’t drink and crochet; nothing like realizing you’ve fucked up a craft project and have to redo it. Hope your blanket turns out. I will be making masks; they just became compulsory in my county; we’re at over 1,000 positive tests and 16 deaths. I have some Beauty and the Beast fabric for mine and some black and white paisley with skulls for my roommate.

I've been cleaning out movies I've been meaning to watch, and so far everything's been mediocre. Nothing I've flat-out hated, just a bunch of "Oh, that was a nice enough way to spend two hours" and then forgetting about it forever. :P

How goddamn stupid are people. JFC. I went to a drug store because the regular grocery stores were too crowded. Well, I was at the cash register getting my stuff rung up, and this guy blocking my exit. Yes, from six feet away, but still blocking. I give him a look and he's like "lol am i on the wrong side" and instead of backing out of the exit easily and going the fuck around like he's supposed to, FUCKING WALKS IN MY DIRECTION LIKE A FUCKING IDIOT AND AROUND ME WHERE THERE IS ONLY 2 FEET OF SPACE BETWEEN ME AND THE AISLE WALL. FJDK;LSAJF;ADKSFJAD;S THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS IN A PANDEMIC. FUCK.
