NAYRT

Funnily enough I am an example of number 1! :D

When we first got an internet connection at home I loved googling any random stuff I could think off because having all that information right there was so cool, you know?

So one day I decide to google Cardcaptor Sakura because I'd started watching the show on a local TV channel but then they moved it to an earlier time slot when I was still in class, so I couldn't watch it anymore and I wanted to know how it ended.

Long story short: my first contact with any sort of fanfiction was some horribly written story where 10-year-old Sakura Kinomoto gets raped by her dad and her older brother.

No content warnings, no age restriction at all. It was shocking and I was skeeved out by the whole thing, but it got me thinking that if such a thing existed then maybe there were other people writing different and better stories about TV shows and such out there.

I don't think I suffered any sort of long-lasting trauma, and in fact I suspect that "baptism by fire" made it so I wouldn't freak out too badly whenever I stumbled into the weirder corners of the internet.

LOL wow.

This had to have been 10+ years ago now but I once stumbled upon drawn incest porn of Hogarth and his mother from The Iron Giant while doing a Google image search of something completely unrelated. Grossed me rd out, I was an older teen at the time. Definitely wasn't damaged, though. It's funny to me now.
