You know, I can feel you. I feel like that used to be a big problem for me (not YT necessarily, consuming really good media by someone via Instagram or whatever platform).

I've grown since then, still struggle from time to time, but realizing that a) I have to accept who I am, what I look like, etc.
b) I have to go an live my dreams, instead of being upset that someone else is doing what I want to do. Go ahead and do it!
c) and not to think if I'm good enough or if it's worth it etc, just do it (still working on that)

there's space for everybody. and I'm tired of being a hater, lol. I want to be happy. None of this may apply to you, OP, but I feel you, and if any of it does, I hope you do the things you want to as well. Even if that means cutting off contact with that source of media. I've done that too.

I personally resent Logan Paul bc he had the awesome opportunity to go to Japan and he FUCKED IT UP and disrespected everyone. God knows I'm no social prodigy but I'd like to think if I went there I'd make sone effort to not offend everyone there that bad.

Heh, I had a secret very much like this not too long ago. So I get it. In my case, it was like I was watching a much better version of my life/dream except that somebody else was living it, and that kind of thing can be hard to deal with. It's a green-eyed monster for a reason. At least you're very self-aware and wish the person no harm.

I may be way off base here, but I hope you get to a better place regarding your bigger wishes/dreams.

I really do think it's good that you're able to admit this. Like there are a lot of people who refuse to be at least part-way self aware and try to take everyone else down because of it. This is a perfect example of feeling the way you feel but acknowledging the fact that it isn't all the way warranted. So good on you OP, there are a lot pf smaller people out there that couldn't admit to how they feel even in secret. Props.

I kind of get it. Not the last part about not being them, but about getting "jealous" when something I've followed for a long time gets popular enough that even though the content is just as good, it just feels weird now. And that instead of being a voice that could occasionally be heard, I'm now a complete nobody.
