What is executive dysfunction? I read it and thought: Whoooo, my mother is the CEO of dysfunction!

The ability to make a plan and then carry it out.

If you find yourself thinking, "Yeah, I should totally get up and eat something and take a painkiller and then I will feel less miserable," and completely fail to do that for three hours, then you are probably having an issue with executive dysfunction.

It gets hammered pretty hard with depression and other mental illnesses, and in general keeps life kinda messy.
