Re: Can we talk about what happened in Wisconson?

If countries were people, America would be a toddler. I'm not saying this to be insulting, I really mean it as an equivalent. Toddlers are immature, are very much "me! me! me!" and have little awareness of how their actions affect others. (It's usually around this age, narcissistic people stop maturing emotionally and never learn the concept of empathy.) America is a very young country compared to others, but unlike toddlers, we aren't being brought up by anybody right now, and we have power. Right now, Agent Orange Julius is a perfect symbol of the country -- immature, insensitive, out of touch with reality, easily angered, quick to defer or direct blame, not really grasping the seriousness of the situation he's in.

I'm not suggesting anything other than the fact that America needs to get a grip right now if they don't want a repeat of these last four years. I want us to continue being our own power. I know there are people who already feel this way, but also feel the criticism is deserved, and are willing to do what they can to vote out the orange turd. I also know there are those who are lost causes. But the rest of us are fully capable of coming around. I want to believe in that part of America (and the rest that have already come around. I'll hold out hope for the ones who won't budge, but I'll be realistic too).
