I don't think that the electoral college is a good system, and there are lots of good critiques to be made of it, and we should get rid of it. But we haven't gotten rid of it, so winning the electoral college is an important goal for 2020, it seems to me.

But that significantly changes your entire argument. She didn't lose because she wasn't a good candidate--she lost because of plain old misogyny.

That, and a 200+ year old system designed to protect the interests of slave-holding states, and racist forms of voter suppression.

She lost the electoral college because she lost the popular vote in a number of states. One of the reasons that she lost the popular vote in those states was misogyny, but I don't think it was the only one.
