(Anonymous) 2008-11-24 03:43 am (UTC)(link)Someone put it better in another comment- this is something I enjoy to fantasize about, read fic of, watch on tv, etc. But it's just that- fantasy. I'm a nonviolent person in reality and it wouldn't turn me on in the least to actually torture someone. But BRING ON THE PAIN to my favorite characters and let me watch them suffer anyday. ^_^
Also, yeah. It's an arousal thing (which is why the secret). I don't mind admitting that I like it. But I do feel weird that I find it so appealing on that level.
