I recently discovered that one of my fandoms has fic tagged "anti-[character]" and while I feel like I'm supposed to disapprove of that kind of thing, I completely hate that character and feel like they completely destroyed the show, so I'm not too upset about it.

Ohh~ That's always nice. I miss character bashing in fic, it was one of the few things that was tagged/labeled/warned for back in the day so I never had an issue with it. It's nice when you actually dislike a character, and it was usually done with comedic effect as far as I remember it. Much better than changing around canon or whatever, imo.
