Is there a published piece advising that the loss of taste /smell means it is going to be mild? Because if there isn't one then quit peddling mistruthe. It's not helpful.

Hopefully above anon just meant that if the only symptom is a loss of taste/smell, then the total situation is mild? It's one of the first symptoms for a lot of people that can lead to any scenario though, definitely not a sign of a mild strain.
