Who is the blond guy on the left behind Seth? Because he does look at Seth a certain way! If you hadn't warned me that there's no mm, I would absolutely have assumed that it boils down to that guy romancing Seth's character. Queer bating? Probably not even on purpose.

The actor's name is Breckin Meyer, he was in a bunch of goofy comedies in the late 90s/early 2000s.

It's...interesting. There's a scene where they're sitting next to each other on the beach and lay their heads on each other's shoulders, and another one where they're walking down the street and one of them puts his arm around the other and just leaves it there for the rest of the scene, and throughout the movie people keep mistaking them for a couple. It was just...I don't know how to explain it, there was something different about their dynamic and the way they interacted that you don't usually see between guy friends, and I really thought at one point that they were going to get together in the end. But of course there had to be female love interests as usual.

Just realized you probably meant in the movie, his character is Seth's character's best friend, and after he finds out his wife is cheating on him, he decides to take him on the anniversary trip he'd planned, instead of his wife.
