now, my only actual experience with KH is being in the same room while my roommate plays the games and occasionally glancing up at the TV. even with that tiny bit of exposure...lmfao are you kidding? Axel, Roxas, Xion, and everyone tangentially related to them are totally a family. but I also shipped Axel and Saix just from glancing up at the TV occasionally so, yknow. I get being disappointed that the juggernaut is everywhere and your ship isn't as prevalent but don't tell me you don't understand why the juggernaut is the juggernaut.

I don't think you understand what the secret is saying. It's not about the juggernaut ship (which isn't Axel/Saix, it's Axel/Roxas, which is only topped by Sora/Riku).

When they refer to "sea salt family", they mean the current fandom trend of "Axel and Saix are happily in love and are the Parents of uwu children Roxas and Xion".

I'm not a huge fan of Axel/Saix, so the current trend of Sea Salt Family drives me up the wall. I know it's a Disney game and Saix was "redeemed", completely off screen in an entirely unsatisfactory way, but there's no way in hell Roxas and Xion would so readily forgive Saix, let alone let him parent them in the way Sea Salt Family is often portrayed.

I especially hate the infantilization of Roxas and Xion. They aren't five. They have always been Axel's equals. They're friends. Their relationship is not parental and never was. And I mean, if you enjoy the parent-kid dynamic, fine, whatever, but I have yet to see someone who does Sea Salt Family and doesn't turn out to be an anti.

I'm well aware they're "friends" now. Hence why I acknowledged the redemption. I don't have a Saix hateboner, either. His redemption was rushed, lackluster, and unsatisfying. Them all being happy eating ice cream together doesn't change that fact. KH3 was a fun game, but it dropped the ball on a whole lot of things, including giving Saix's story any decent development.
