If it's a Farscape story that's not about the relationship and time-line wise it's further along in the series and they're following canon? The show has multiple ships that still exist in every episode even if they're not the point of the episode and I wouldn't call those episodes "shippy" episodes. So technically they would still be John/Aeryn, Chiaana/D'Argo, Scorpy/Sikozu, or Zhaan/Stark. It's just how the characters interact. So in that case my definition bends.

Anyways. I sorta agree.

Mine too- gen fic, to me, is where the story is not focussed on any romantic relationship, even though such relationships may occur incidental to the plot.

I agree with you, I thought John/Aeryn was not a good match with the other examples. It could however be argued that if a relationship is both canon and not the focus of the story, why declare it in the header at all?
