I'm kind of hoping here that Zutara fandom does its usual "bounce back from everyone else making fun of us" thing and writes fic/makes more photomanips about election!AU Zutara.

But yeah, it would be nice if everyone calmed down and learned to laugh about the whole thing.

I figured. But still, the Zutara fandom has a good sense of humor some days.

And now I'm pondering election!AU fics. An Aang/Sokka ticket would so be the perfect equivalent of an Obama/Biden ticket, complete with Aang being the candidate of hope and change that people suspect is too naive and inexperienced, and Sokka being the smart, sensible guy who nevertheless keeps putting his foot in his mouth.
