TW suicide mention (in case you missed the header)

The last two years have been super tough for me, and whenever I felt suicidal or like giving up, I'd think to myself, "I have to stick it out until July 16, 2020. I can't kill myself before the Bob's Burgers movie comes out and I've seen it." So I feel you, OP! 😬

(TBH, I was doing a lot better pre-Covid-19 chaos. I'm just bummed I have to wait another year for my 'reward.' One more year!)

I do the same thing. I have a running list of books, movies, games, and events coming up that I don't want to miss that keep me from doing something rash. I have been doing it for years. I never talk about it or have told anyone irl because I am scared they will think I am crazy. Sometimes I think about sending the authors/creators thank you notes for giving me a reason to keep going.

Oh, same hat, anon. Like, different media, but I'm trying to live long enough to see Hamilton come to my country next year. Also there's a con I'd like to go to (it's been going for years, but this might be the first time I'm not left looking after my parents' pets while *they* go...)

I once thought like that about the Oscars, back when I was depressed and unemployed.

I'm now working and less depressed, thank heavens.
