Favorite Character from your first online fandom Vs your Favorite Character from a recent fandom

Seto has the technology, but I think that Jadzia could hack her way in to his destruction, or beat him in a duel. That being said I think Jadzia would be interested in wth is going on with the technology, but I don't think Seto would stick around long enough to talk about it.

Favorite character when I first went online: Hermione
Favorite character now (though not in the fandom): McGonagall
More recent online fandom: Tolkien would be my main online fandom right now and the only fandom I'm actively in online
Favorite character: Sauron or Celebrimbor
Who would win- Hmmm, actually that's a complicated question given how different the magical systems are. But given that Sauron isn't actually killable, going to go with him vs. either Hermione or Mcgonagall. They could probably take Celebrimbor with the right spell, but would they be willing to use the spell?
Would they fight? The Potter heroes would absolutely fight Sauron. Probably wouldn't fight Celebrimbor.
Would I ship it? I think I could ship anyone with Sauron, honestly. First and Second Age Sauron used seduction as a go-to method of getting what he wanted. So it could work. Celebrimbor and McGonagall could be an interesting ship. In an AU with McGonagall in her younger days? Celebrimbor had contact with different species. Both were brilliant. It could work.
What would happen if they met?- War if anyone met Sauron. An exchange of ideas if Hermione or McGonagall met Celebrimbor.

In a straight up duel tho, Cloud would eviscerate her.

I would not ship them because I only ship Vegeta with Bulma.
As long as Vegeta wasn't destroying the world I think they would just sort of ignore each other?

Current online fandom: MCU (Starker)
Favorite character: Tony Stark/Peter Parker tie.
Tony and Peter would definitely not fight Buffy. If either of them did, though, I think they’d probably win. I mean, Buffy had a way of defeating foes that were much stronger than her, so who knows. But based on strength, abilities, and resources, Tony and Peter would win easily. I think they’d team up and fight together instead, though.
Would I ship it? Oh god no.
But I could see an interesting situation arising where Peter - projecting like crazy - assumes Buffy is in love with Giles, and she’s like, “What? No! Ew!” And Peter is just like, “Oh. Uh yeah, yeah being in love with your much-older mentor, ew. I-I-I don’t know why I thought that.”

I don't ship it at all. I keep picturing Luna school-aged so I'd like to think that if they met Tony would be charmed and try to "adopt" her. I'm all about parent figure Tony, and maybe this way he would get some positive experiences with magic. Plus I think Luna would love the bots.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-23 06:25 am (UTC)(link)Oh holy hell! This is the greatest matchup I have ever seen, like yes please! This needs to exist. Everything you said would be completely true, only Seto was doomed from the very beginning since his track record when facing off against someone with something ancient and magical inside of them, well, is pretty much absolute zero! I can completely imagine Seto underestimating Jadzia completely at first glance, lose, and be completely unable to let that happen. She'd be so genuine and curious about it too a first absolutely!! Like this is my new thing, my OTRivalry from now unto forever... infinity and beyond. Cause Jadzia would probably trot back off to space and if Seto didn't think they settled it yet, he would absolutely build himself another (because apparently this is just what Kaiba do) spaceship and travel to DS9. (only to probably be beaten again;;) I imagine Jadzia's Klingon spirit would just drive her to not throw Seto a bone either to get him of her back on top of that.
Yup. This is my life now.

Win in a fight: Tricky- Ken is an assassin and can kill people but he's still a regular, if athletic, human (and a bit gullible even without the dumbing down fanon used to give him). Huaisang is fairly weak and useless when it comes to fighting but that is mainly compared to everyone around him. Compared to a regular human: He is a cultivator So he technically knows some martial arts. But he'd be much more likely to scheme against someone and get them killed indirectly so I say Huaisang would win.
If they met: IIRC (been a long time) Ken dislikes dishonest people who trick others so he would Not be a fan of Huaisang if he knew about his story. However, Huaisang is great at playing the pitiable helpless woobie so Ken would probably be tempted to help him instead.

I could ship either permutation. Umm...the most likely way for them to meet would be if Jude or another G Major artist was booking venues in San Francisco on a tour and Piper tried to convince them to play at P3.
