I love Clara, both during 11's and 12's run. I have no problem with her as a character. And I love Capaldi in anything. I hate the show during their era. Can't stand watching it. It's honestly not even the writing. I didn't mind the writing earlier in Moffat's run, although I have my issues with it (like I did with RTD). But something about the way that later Moffat stories are told really throws me off. I don't know, maybe it's just inevitable for Doctor Who showrunners to disappear up their own ass eventually.
