I understand that, but you know...sometimes I'm just tired of being reminded how much we've struggled and how hard and awful things were and are. Sometimes I just want the same fun genres that straight people get to have, without the suffering, and being told that's "cheap and lazy", that it might as well be a fantasy world, just to want unconditional happiness for once, is exhausting.
