I like video games, but I only own a pc and there's lots of games I'd be terrible at anyway, so I keep thinking to get into let's plays, but I can't seem to find anyone who strikes the right balance for me between "talks so little I get bored" and "talks constantly on every imaginable subject until I want to throttle them".

I like Blue Television Games since they do edit their videos to cut out tedious or unnecessary things, but they also tend to play retro games and hacks of retro games, which may or may not be up other folks' alleys.

I love Pikasprey Blue on YouTube/switch. His is the only let's play channel I watch. His main channel is Pikasprey Yellow, where he also does game reviews and softlock videos.

I've never heard of her, but ugh, yeah, that would bother me after a while too. I don't mind a little mockery because hey, sometimes you can't take something too seriously. But just bouncing between continuous mockery and lack of interest, that would be such a nope for me. (Though I guess I shouldn't talk... if it were a game I also disliked, it might not bother me?)

She might be happy but that doesn't mean you have to enjoy her content. It depends on the game but it's definetely annoying when gamers don't even put the effort into playing the fucking game.

That sounds annoying as hell. I don't like Let's Plays in the first place, but how anyone could find /that/ entertaining sounds borderline impossible. If she's one of those people who gets paid for their videos maybe she's being given those games as part of some agreement? Honestly, I have no idea how that kind of thing works, not to mention that even if she genuinely hates the game it doesn't excuse that kind of behaviour, just makes it unprofessional on top of everything else.
