AYRT - What business is it of yours if someone identifies as male who (you think) will later change their mind and identify as female? How does it affect you at all?

It's not my business, and it's true that my concerns are foolish. I posted this secret to try to understand my feelings because there's no place I can ask something like this without getting totally cancelled as a terf. I think it links back to some bad experiences with a sexist ftm person I know. I worry they're judging me for being a woman. Like they're ftm because they attribute bad things to women. But some bio men do that too so I really shouldn't be so weird about ftm.

There are misogynistic trans men.
There are misogynistic trans women.
There are misogynistic cis men.
There are misogynistic cis women.

Maybe what you need to work out is why you're so much more concerned about whether the trans men you know are secretly misogynistic versus, like, every other person on the planet. And also why you think them being misogynistic negates their gender.

I'm glad that you're thinking more about this. Your secret came off as judgemental and transphobic, and so do some of your replies, but I appreciate that you explained more of your thoughts and are taking other people's comments into account. I don't think trans men are uniquely misogynistic, and are a huge group of many very different people.
