1. Transmen are men, your disbelief is transphobic.

People can say they're men until they're blue in the face or their fingertips or numb but that still doesn't make them biologically male.

Not all of us walk around with chromosome testing kits in our pockets, nor do we care to do so. Transmen are men.

But they do walk around with prostates I imagine.

Sorry, my bad--not all of us go around sticking our fingers up strangers' asses to check for a prostate???

I’m a cis woman and I honestly don’t get why anyone gives a fuck what someone’s genotype or phenotype is when it comes to gender; I care what they say they are because that’s the part that matters in everyday life. If I was a doctor who specialized in reproductive health or endocrine disorders or something then I might need to know more info about the other stuff, but for just existing in the world, how they identify is the important bit.

Right? It's not complicated.

Especially not online? WHere you're talking to people you may never meet in person, they can call themselves anything they want and it doesn't really affect you much. There are tons of people I've interacted with online whose gender I never knew, and never really needed to know. we don't really know who anyone is, because so much of the time it isn't our buisness anyway.
