Yeah. No surprises.

I got banned from a community for lesbians for starting a conversation about how hard it is to get good reproductive health care when all our options revolve around pregnancy prevention and not actually alleviating issues with irregular and painful periods, and how quickly you're dismissed from even getting those options if you aren't having sex with men.

From the replies: Women's health is transphobic now. Referring to myself as a woman is transphobic and I must call myself a uterus owner. Implying that there are women who do not have PIV sex is transphobic. Discussing periods is transphobic. Being negative about periods is harming people who wish they could have periods. I deserve to be raped and get the wall for causing suicide because transgender people kill themselves because of lesbians who use invalidating language. I am scum. I am a murderer. Etc, etc.

I was curious to see if gay men have to deal with similar reactions to talking about men's health. Searched their entire community, even searched the term FTM and only found people stating that their sexual preference was men, not FTM. No one was accused of being transphobic, no one was told to change their language about their own bodies, no one was told they had a genital fetish and needed to try harder.
