This messy post reminds me of two cis guys I knew irl who were forever getting mistaken as fangirls online regardless of how many times they tried to correct people. For one of them the reason was he was 'too enthusiastic' for the fandom he was in and he wrote slash fics (because of course why would a straight man write slash fics when its such a female thing to do right? :/)
Judging who people are online because they don't act the right way is dumb and also none of your business.
