We're going to make some ANZACs too. Haven't had them in such a long time. They could be really interesting with molasses but I don't think I'd add corn syrup to them.

I do half molasses half light corn syrup. The corn syrup helps cut the molasses taste a but. I'm sure it doesn't taste the same as golden syrup, but this is the way my mom always made them going back to before you could just order golden syrup off the internet.
