I like a little bit of switching (like 95% of the time they do it one way and 5% of the time they do it the other), but I'm really not a fan of what I'd call "true switching" where the ratio is like 60/40 or 50/50.

So I feel you about the attitude of some of the people who are into switching. Even when they're not being aggressive about it, there's this pervading mindset that if you like switching for your ships that's better, because having clear top/bottom roles is heteronormative.

But honestly, I just like what I like. It has nothing to do with my beliefs about actual gay men. Their sex lives are none of my business, and I know very little about the subject. I am supportive of their right to do whatever safe, sane, consensual stuff they wanna do, without being judged, and that's as far as my views on the subject of actual gay men's sex lives go.

I just have certain personal fantasies about certain character and those fantasies happen to involve top/bottom roles.
