OP

I didn't hate all of the enderverse books— I actually loved a lot of them when I was younger! I was curious to see what my feelings would be revisiting the ones that I still have fond feelings for (they don't hold up to how I felt about them as a kid, but I still really enjoyed rereading some of them), and decided to reread the ones I didn't care for either, because I couldn't initially remember much about why I disliked it. As a kid, I often assumed when I didn't like a book that I'd probably like it if I was older, so it was kind of validating to remember what I didn't like about it and realize I had the same issues with it as an adult.

Also, I don't want to go into it, but I have chronic health issues right now that make my typical hobbies pretty hard to do, and leave me without much energy, so I've been passing time by rereading stuff that doesn't require much effort for me. It's definitely not a "productive" hobby, but it's not really intended to be, I guess?
