110 is from Monkey Dust, a BBC animated comedy sketch show from a few years back. Brilliantly bleak stuff :)

the movie was absolutely incredible. i came out of it energized and giggly and fangirly. it had a plot, moreso than advent children, but still not a real solid plot worthy of awards. but then again it's resident evil so i don't really expect that from it anyway. as a matter of fact i guess that's what makes it stick out from advent children. everyone went into ac expecting plot since it's final fantasy, but they didn't get any. on the flipside i went into dg expecting no plot and lots of explosions but it did tie into the rest of the storyline really nicely and the end led up to re5 in a real solid way. and of course there were lots of pretty graphics and lots of laugh out loud moments and lots of zombies and lots of references to past games. if you're a solid fan of the games you'll like the movie.

Well, I actually haven't played any of the games(Zombies scare the crap out of me^^;), and TBH Resident Evil 5 is the first Resident Evil game I've been pretty interested in, mainly because of the Africa setting. I've mostly got all the information about the games from reviews and articles in game magazines, and from the Internet. It was kinda the same thing with Advent Children - I hadn't played the game before watching the movie, but I had picked up a lot of information of the game from Internet and magazines(Although, I had NO idea who the Turks and the rest of Shinra Corporation was before watching the movie - I only knew about the main cast and Sephiroth ^^;). I was actually pondering about if I was gonna watch the movie or not, but if there's a lot of references to the older games, which I honestly don't have a lot of insight in, maybe I should sit this one out?
