153. It's important to hate and criticize Twilight, and I adore Anti-Twilight stuff. The reason why I feel it's necessary is because the rabid fangirls need to be aware that just because they like the book doesn't mean it's good literature. I appreciate Twilight fans who are like "I know it's just some married woman's self indulgence and wish fulfillment, I know it's not a GREAT book, but I still enjoyed reading it ." I get worried that were going to teach a generation of young girls to think if they write like this it'll be TEHBESTBOOKEVAROMG.

Cause it's not. As long as they're aware that Stephenie Meyer doesn't build intriguing, conflicted characters, then I'm okay with Twilight fans. I feel like Anti-Twilight stuff is trying to make people aware of how shallow and vapid the characters really are, so it's a necessary thing.

The problem is, lots of the Twilight haters DO act like asses. And that's what I complain aboout.

You (general you) don't like it? Fine, I don't. You hate it so violently that you keep ranting, bitching, screaming and etc about it AND look down on anyone who either disagrees or is lukewarm? THAT is when the line is drawn, and sadly, the Twilight rabid fans are almost everywhere, acting like they're So Much Better Than You. =/

153. There's criticizing the book and there's acting like an ass thrashing them. Before someone calls me a Twilight lover or some shit, I only read a bit of it and just the prose makes me cry. When I feel a flare of annoyance towards any one in the Twilight shithole, most of the time it's the Twilight Haters. I mean, yeah it's a shitty book that got popular, but my old it isn't the end of the damn world and like most book fads, it too will fade away.

TL;DR: The a good number of "active" hate are doing it wrong and come across as annoying or more so than the people who actually like it.

And Meyer is far from the first and last woman to do that either too (no one protesting against the tripe that those dime romance novels, which are just as "harmful"). Stop treating her like she's some fucking boogeyman.

That's probably because they're not as popular, meaning not as many girls are eating it up and thinking that creepy unhealthy relationships are a-ok and even romantic.

And also, there are plenty of people "protesting" dime romance novels that fuck up the perception of what is and isn't ok (stalking = not ok). The thing is, Twilight is the biggest one of them all - and worse than them all, because at least crap like that is acknowledge as crap and not touted as being revolutionary or some shit.

I'm about a year older than her and I'm fully developed. In fact, a fair amount of 16 year old girls are, at least in the curves department. Although, I do agree with the her being delusional idea.

I figured that too, and then grew another whole cup size at 18. Just saying, those last-minute spurts can totally happen.
