I do not understand how any cisgendered female could want to be pregnant twice. Do I sit around coming up with complicated supervillian plots to explain the existence of just about everyone on Earth, however? No. It's not my place to sit here and question other people's choices in such a way that I would sooner believe some messed up fantasy than a real human being's decision to have children. Why should it matter that this man has chosen to become pregnant twice so his wife and himself could have children? If he has no problems with becoming pregnant, why do you have issues with this?

I could understand having issues with the media spectacle he is making of himself, as I feel that is setting back acceptance for transsexuals a bit more than it is improving their acceptance into mainstream society, but I don't understand getting up in arms about a choice that is not yours to make or to pass judgement on.

Honestly, it could be seen as very intolerant of you to say that he cannot possibly desire to carry children because he is male. He does have the desire to carry children, as proven by his two pregnancies. The conclusion that could then be drawn, if one were into leaps of logic, is that you don't really think of him as male, and instead are like the other intolerant bigots out there who think that he is just a "girl playing at being a man", only more subtle in your bigotry. After all, part of your fantasy is that he is really a female forced into a sex change. Perhaps this isn't such a logic leap after all...

Just because you are a transman does not mean you get to speak for all men. Why do I have the sneaking suspicion you are one of those transmen who, now that you are male, don't ever wish to deal with transsexual issues again?

Having had another neurological problem listed in said manual, I'm kind of wary of people who appear not to fit the strict criteria of the disorders/neurological quirks listed therein, and appear to be doing it to gain some sort of perceived advantage (a la Cartman in "Le Petite Tourette"). Is it so bad I want standards?

And don't take it so seriously, geez. This whole theory was intended for the LULZ, especially with the characters involved. I don't take it seriously, it's to help me deal with shit I personally don't get in a LULZy manner. It's NOT SERIOUS BZNZ, OK?

Also, way to assume that I'm going to opt out of the trans community post-op. My past is still a part of me, and it's not going to go away like magic. I'm not as extreme as some people who want to be cardboard cutouts of stereotypical gender roles, but I sure as hell don't believe that I'm transitioning to "break down gender" or something of that instance.

The advantage to being a "fake" and not perfectly fitting the criteria is, of course, being denied treatment because you don't fit the exacting "standards." (Which, in many places, includes things like, "must be heterosexual post-transition.")

Even better, who comes up with these standards and how do we enforce them systematically?
