I'm not familiar with the media in your secret, but that's something that annoys me in general (it seems really common in games and webcomics?). I don't mind stories that are just intended to be silly, or stories that are goofy with serious emotional moments, but something about a certain type of self-defeating ""irony"" feels so cheapening to me and makes it really hard to get invested, because it feels like the creators themselves are afraid to express something that can't be walked back as a joke, I guess. There's definitely cases where that kind of approach is better executed than others, and some are fun to me, so I can't say whether I'd like this game, but I think that's just... not really my thing, typically, even if it's skillfully done.
