Yeah this is why I never post my WIPs. I think it would be an annoying experience for the readers to experience my really inconsistent updates.

I used to post WIPs (one at a time) and had a very regular update schedule. Even really long stories got finished in a reasonable amount of time. I should have learned my lesson with the last one I completed, which took fucking forever. But I stupidly started a new one and it hasn't been updated in over a year. I've just gotten into some new hobbies and am no longer active in fandom. But I feel really guilty about that last WIP and keep hoping that I will manage to finish it.
