This happens a lot in those dramas that have the popular "This is obviously a girl disguised as a guy and everyone but the morons in the show can see it" trope. Doesn't help that the plot of this was plagiarized from an assortment of BL novels so the character likely would have actually been a pretty dude in the plagiarized work.

Yeah, the second one should have been "in the work it was plagiarized from"- not sure if there's a term for that, English is not my native language.
