Yep. I remember doing so much Thanksgiving crap in my early years of school.

I can imagine very young kids still not grasping the fact that not everyone celebrates the same holidays that they do, despite knowing intellectually that those holidays are tied to specific nations or religions, but anyone old enough to type up a fic and post it online should have been capable of working out that Brits don't do Thanksgiving.
