What are 'bonus icons'?

I have a paid account and when I go into my profile page, this is what I see:

5 Journal Entries, 13 Tags, 0 Memories, 150 Icons Uploaded (150 icon slots active, 0 bonus icons)

What is this? I tried looking it up on the FAQ but that proved fruitless.

I think it just means you didnt pay for any extra icon space.

I don't know about DW, but on LJ, you got bonus/loyalty icons for having a paid account; five years paid account, and you would have something like 12 loyalty icons or whatever of the 'basic' amount that you automatically got.

Probably the same thing.

Yes - I have a paid account and am still getting 1 loyalty userpic per every 3 months of paid time.
