I've seen people argue that he should've given Peggy and Howard the coordinates to find other-him, for example. And about a million other fix-it ideas, which even they don't agree with me it's one of my favorite parts of fandom XD

Now this is more about some above comments than the secret but... What I don't get is why people claim it was OOC. I thought it was perfectly supported by all of his previous canon. It made him look pretty terrible, no matter which of the two alternatives you believe in, but I never had the most complimentary opinion about him in the first place.
