Represent Your Taste In 5 Things

What 5 things best represent your taste? Books, movies, TV shows, music, Internet memes, items of clothing, whatever

Tolkien's writing, Star Wars movies, Babylon 5, Doctor Who, Star Trek (especially Deep Space Nine and Voyager).

Into lots of things, but I think those 5 things are both my top 5 and explain my taste pretty well. I love the crossing of fantasy and scifi and in general the grand epic that feels big and important. I especially love the exploration of alien cultures and seeing how different species interact with humans. I'm interested in characters and heroes and villains.

Don't particularly care about technology, to me that's just an element there to tell a story as much as magic is for fantasy. TBH magic is more interesting to me than hard science and technology if it is a choice. But give me all the different species, the great characters, and the exploration and the dealing with either important thematic issues or a traditional hero/villain story (or both) and I'm happy.
