People aren't saying cheating is good, they're reacting to the idea that even just once feeling the temptation to cheat AND RESISTING IT is some kind of fatal flaw.


Cheating is bad.

Resisting the temptation to cheat is good.

OP is acting like even feeling a flicker of the temptation at all puts a character beyond redemption for them. And that's stupid. Because most people do at some point in their lives. Good people resist it. That's what makes a person good - avoiding bad actions. Not never having bad thoughts, because no one meets that standard.
